While playing the game, press ~ to display the console window. In the 'General' tab, select 'Set Launch Options', enter ' -enabledeveloperconsole' in that field, and accept it. Note: The console window and typed codes will not appear onscreen.įor the Steam version of the game, Right-click the 'Dragon Age 2' option, and select 'Properties' under the 'My Games' Steam tab. Then, type one of the following codes and press to activate the corresponding cheat function. Make sure there is a space between the last quotation mark in the 'Target' field and the added command line. Click on 'Properties', and then add the ' -enabledeveloperconsole' command line to end of the 'Target' field. Next, Right-click on the 'da2.exe' file that is used to launch the game. Change the 'OpenConsole_0=' line to 'OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_`'. Use a text editor to edit the 'KeyBindings.ini' file in the 'Users\\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age 2\Settings' directory.
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file create a backup copy of the file before proceeding.
