Give it a try now, pressing escape will bring you back to the editor. In Far Cry’s editor you just need to press CTRL+G.
Most game editors ask that you compile a level before you can play it, this can take a while and so testing little changes can be a pain. Like in Far Cry 2, it is mainly used for Multiplayer, and sometimes just to mess around. One of the new and notable features is that you can place handheld weapons, AI, and Vehicles, but these are only for Personal Use. The Map Editor in Far Cry 3 is not very different from Far Cry 2’s Map Editor. The Far Cry 3 Map Editor is accessed from the main menu of the console version of Far Cry 3, but for those with the PC version of FC3, a little bit of navigating has to be done, as you will not find that utility on the main menu.
